Panama City Beach is not only home to spectacular sea views and sumptuous seafood, but also boasts a varied festival calendar. Whether you’re a foodie or looking to boogie on the beach, this sunny Florida destination has something for everyone to enjoy. Here are a few of our favourites:
UnWineD
Kicking-off the spring is UnwineD; a two-day event, dedicated to craft beer, wine and spirits. You’re invited to come along, sip a glass of something cold (or the perfect recommended temperature) and watch North West Florida’s top chefs create mouth-watering dishes before your very eyes. Head over to Friday night’s kick-off party for a dose of live music and stick around for Saturday’s live cocktail making extravaganza. Places for Panama City Beach’s most prestigious event are limited, so grab them while you still can! This year’s festival takes place on March 20-21, 2020.
Seabreeze Jazz Festival
With its 2020 line-up featuring the likes of Marcus Miller and The Isley Brothers, the Seabreeze Jazz Festival celebrates talent from across the musical spectrum. The event primarily takes place at Panama City Beaches’ sprawling Pier Park, but also sets out across the high seas for a jazz-soaked dinner cruise on its opening night. Jazz, by the water? What more could you ask for? This year’s festival takes place on April 22-26, 2020.
Sandjam
This year’s Sandjam is set to take over the scenic M.B Miller Pier for a weekend of pure alternative rock. For three days, this prized local fishing spot will be transformed into a multi-stage music hub, with international superstars Weezer occupying this year’s Sunday headline slot. To top it all off, the festival is set against the backdrop of Panama City Beaches sugar white sands. Sandjam’s organizers put it best: “Come for the music, stay for the beach!” This year’s festival takes place on April 24-26, 2020.
Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam
Finally, we have Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, which brings together country music’s biggest stars, underneath the palm trees. The event takes place over Labour Day weekend - one of the biggest holidays in the American calendar, and has boasted the likes of Tim McGraw, Little Big Town and Keith Urban on previous line-ups. This year’s festival takes place on September 4-6, 2020.
