We had a wonderful time, everything ran like clockwork, hotels were all good etc. We had weather from 101F in Sheridan to snow the next day over the Bighorn mountains! We can thoroughly recommend the Donovan House Hotel in Washington, it was far better than many 5* hotels we've stayed in, and on our return after the campervan trip they gave us a fabulous corner room with good views. It was great to be so close to the White House and all the attractions, all the staff were really helpful and friendly. The campervan was great and met with all our expectations. "Another great holiday through yourselves, one B&B especially deserves a mention. Tanglewood at Front Royal. Where do we start? The bedrooms, bathrooms, decoration, food, maybe by a whisker the hosts, Jo and Susan for whom nothing was too much trouble. They were wonderful and the breakfasts - enough to sustain one for days. "I thought I should drop you a line to thank you and your colleagues for making arrangements for our recent trip to USA. All the bookings were in order and the accommodations were of good to excellent quality. Our favourite hotel and place on our tour was the Woodstock Inn and Resort, Vermont. It's a magical place and we will return one day - hopefully very soon! All the other arrangements were equally in order - car hire, rail travel and flight. Finally, the travel directions provided were unbelievably accurate and were most welcome. So, all in all, we had a brilliant vacation and America As You Like It were instrumental in making it such an enjoyable holiday. "Back Bay Hotel was excellent ( 9 out of 10. - they lost one point because they cannot make a decent cup of tea ). -great location. And Mill Inn is even better. - Meredith is a fabulous choice - really very beautiful -and we got upgraded to a suite with balcony overlooking the lake (room even has a with a log fire) - and we were given a bottle of champers and an anniversary card. "Thank you for arranging our trip so well to California. Please pass on our thanks to the rest of the team for the work they did. Every hotel we stayed at was of a very good standard. The car we had from Alamo was excellent. The high spot of our trip - quite literally - was the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon. The Cirque de Soleil show in Las Vegas was excellent. The Bellagio was probably the best hotel of the bunch and we were glad we stayed there. We had an excellent meal in the Stratosphere Tower and is strongly recommended. The Loews hotel near LA Boulevard was very good and in a great location. Travelling down the Mendicino coast from Redding was good. The avenue of Giants was amazing. San Francisco including Alcatraz was great - tell folk to take the garden tour at Alcatraz - run by volunteers who have much to tell about the history as well as plants - and leave the cell visit till last." - Mr & Mrs L

The hotel was wonderful, they gave us an upgrade when we arrived and also gave us free breakfast. Union Square was not an area of San Francisco that I had heard of but the location was perfect and it was very close to all transport links so we got around the city with ease. "Returned from Washington last Friday after a very successful trip. Your organisation was excellent and everything went very well indeed - hotels, car, routes etc.,.Even the weather was superb!! A great holiday full of contrasts from the capital city to civil war sites to old plantations and of course the Blue Ridge Mountains where the accommodation was more basic but was worth it for the setting. The cherry blossom was evident throughout Virginia which added to the experience.
