St. John is reached by ferry from St. Thomas – there are two ferry routes - Crown Bay to ‘the Creek’ Cruz Bay (this is nearer to the airport) and takes about 35 minutes; or from Red Hook to Cruz Bay Ferry Dock the ferry ride is about 15 minutes. There are more ferry services from Red Hook.
