Head on to the Lake Chelan Valley, nestled in the North Cascades National Forest. From wine tasting and mountain biking, to boutique shopping and cross-country skiing, the Lake Chelan Valley offers four seasons of activities just for you. Explore miles of crystal clear, glacier-fed lake, surrounded by vineyards, mountains and small-town charm promise an array of activities. Explore Mazama, located in the beautiful Methow Valley. Hike in the North Cascades National Park and Pasayten Wilderness, climb world famous Liberty Bell Mountain and drive to Harts Pass and Slate Peak, the highest road in the state of Washington. 


Day 1 - Seattle
Arrive in the afternoon. Stroll along the historic waterfront and then head to Pike Place Market for fresh, local produce, fish throwing antics and handmade crafts. In the evening, explore some of the neighbourhoods and sample exquisite Northwest cuisine and locally brewed beer and cider or perhaps a glass of finest Washington State red.
Stay for 2 nights.

Day 3 - Seattle to Leavenworth (approx 135 miles) 
The vast natural surroundings of Leavenworth, Plain, and Lake Wenatchee include the Wenatchee National Forest, Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and Glacier Peak Wilderness. There is plenty to do and see here at any time of the year from horse riding to hiking, climbing, fishing, wine tasting or taking a wagon ride. Visit the Leavenworth Bavarian Village, an entire town centre modelled on a German Bavarian village, where many festivals take place at any time of year.

Day 5 - Leavenworth to Chelan (approx 60 miles). 
The Lake Chelan Valley is nestled in the North Cascades National Forest. From wine tasting and mountain biking, to boutique shopping and cross-country skiing, the Lake Chelan Valley offers four seasons of activities just for you. Start exploring 50.5 miles of crystal clear, glacier-fed lake, surrounded by vineyards, mountains and small-town charm promise an array of activities as unique as the people who come here to play or make Lake Chelan their forever home. Take a stroll around the local art and craft shops in Chelan and choose from a number of restaurants to dine in.

Day 7 - Chelan to Mazama (approx 75 miles). 
Mazama is located in the beautiful Methow Valley. Hike in the North Cascades National Park and Pasayten Wilderness, climb world famous Liberty Bell Mountain and drive to Harts Pass and Slate Peak, the highest road in the state of Washington. 
Stay for 2 nights.

Day 9 - Mazama to Mount Vernon (approx 125 miles). 
Known for its annual tulip festival in the first two weeks of April, Mount Vernon attracts a huge number of visitors. It has a vibrant downtown shopping district and is considered a hub for all of Skagit County. 
Stay for 1 night.

Day 10 - Mount Vernon to Seattle (approx 65 miles). 
Return to Seattle, drop off your hire car and get ready for your onwards or return flight.
