No trip to California is complete without a “San Simeon Safari”. Your experience begins at the very edge of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, known as the “Serengeti of the Sea”, and is sandwiched between a National Scenic Byway, Route Highway 1, and the Pacific Whale Trail, the grey whale migration route from the feeding grounds of Alaska’s Beaufort Sea to the breeding grounds of Baja California, Mexico.
