Colorado Springs, at an elevation of 1,839m, is located at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains. It lies near glacier-carved Pikes Peak, a landmark in Pike National Forest with hiking trails and a cog railway leading to its summit. The city's Garden of the Gods park features iconic red-sandstone formations and mountain views.

Take a ride on The Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway. This iconic railway is one of Colorado Springs' top attractions and since 1891, has taken thousands of people to the 4,302m summit of Pikes Peak.
