Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Boston Boston has a lot of history, but yet has a modern and contemporary vibe. Having undergone much renovation, the harbour area is now a great place to explore - especially with a unique Segway tour. Get a bird's eye view of the whole city and beyond from the Skywalk Observatory at the top of the Prudential Center and then enjoy some great shopping in the mall below.

Day 3 - Boston to Portland, ME, approx. 115 miles
En-route stop at Cape Elizabeth and Two Lights State Park, before travelling on to Portland, a great small city with maritime history and cobbled streets. From here you can take a boat tour to the Portland Head Light (the state’s oldest lighthouse) and discover more of the coast from the water. Why not take a bike tour or a walking foodie tour to discover more about the city.

Day 5 - Portland to Bar Harbor, ME, approx. 165 miles
Continue north around Maine’s rugged and beautiful coastline. Acadia National Park is over 50 square miles and boasts miles of hiking trails, cycling and riding paths, fabulous scenery and wildlife. Take a hike to the top of Cadillac Mountain, watch the sunrise, and admire the stunning views. Bar Harbor itself if full of galleries, museums, unique shops and local restaurants. You can take a self-guided walking tour to learn more about the town and the area, or a whale watching, kayaking or lighthouse tour.

Day 7 - Bar Harbor to Kennebunkport, ME, approx. 180 miles
Travel along Kennebunkport’s spectacular Ocean Drive. See Walker’s Point, former President George H. W. Bush’s summer home, situated on a rocky promontory. Enjoy the quaint town centre with its galleries and shops, not to mention the restaurants! Why not take a fishing trip on a lobster boat and discover more about the region’s staple food.
Stay one night in Kennebunkport
Day 8 - Return to Boston, approx. 85 miles in time for your flight home.
