Day 2 Atlanta
Swim with the whale sharks at the Georgia Aquarium or participate in other interactive exhibits at the nation’s largest aquarium. In the afternoon, visit the World of Coca Cola where you can sample more than 60 Coca Cola products from around the world.

Days 3-5 Atlanta – Huntsville, approx 180miles.
Head to Huntsville - Space & Rocket City USA for Family Space Camp! Stay on site at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Habitat facilities and train as astronauts. You’ll use astronaut simulators including the Multi-Axis Trainer, the Five Degrees of Freedom Chair and the Manned Maneuvering Unit. Work as a team during rocket construction and explore one of the world’s largest spacecraft collections.

After graduating from Space Camp, depart for Birmingham. This afternoon, visit the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. This morning, visit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and be dazzled by the world’s largest display of antique and contemporary motorcycles. Now at four floors and expanding, this collection is major eye candy. Depart for Gulf Shores this afternoon.
Day 7-10 Gulf Shores
Alabama’s southern border is the Gulf of Mexico and with 32 miles of soft white sand, clear waters and a host of recreational activities, there’s no shortage of fun to be found. Diving, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing and paddelboarding are all available, not to mention championship golf courses, zip-lining and more.

Day 10 Gulf Shores - Montgomery, approx 188miles.
Head north to Montgomery, the capital of Alabama. This afternoon, pick up gifts with a Southern accent at Montgomery’s Union Station. This evening Montgomery offers an array of lively restaurants, just a short walk from your hotel.

Day 11 Montgomery – Atlanta, approx 160miles.
Be sure to visit some of Montgomery’s important sites before departure. The Dexter Avenue Church is where Martin Luther King first preached and is now a National Historic Landmark. The Freedom Rides Museum shows how history was changed through non-violent protest, and the Civil Rights Memorial stands as a reminder of the high cost of freedom. Return to Atlanta this afternoon for departure home.
