The capital of Wyoming was named after the Cheyenne Native Americans who inhabited present day South-Eastern Wyoming. In Cheyenne's early days, city dudes mingled with mule skinners, soldiers, rail-roaders, lawmakers, sheriffs, rustlers, stage drivers and outlaws.
